We are continuing to monitor the evolving situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are taking the necessary steps to ensure we are fully prepared to care for patients, in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and in partnership with our local and state health departments.

Visitor Restrictions and Limited Entrance Access to Hospital

Out of an abundance of caution and to protect the health and wellbeing of patients, visitors, staff, and community members. St. Francis-Emory Healthcare has implemented visitor restrictions and limited access points. Per CDC guidelines, everyone entering the hospital will be screened for respiratory symptoms and travel history. A zero-visitor protocol will be implemented until further notice. Some exceptions apply:

  • OB patients plus the father of the baby or significant other
  • Patients receiving end of life care
  • Pediatric patients (2 caregivers)

Transporters will be in place in place to help accommodate patients. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding while we stay focused on providing high-quality care.
