Physician Extenders

Amanda Sprout, NP-C
Mrs. Sprout is a Family Nurse Practitioner who began work with Columbus Clinic in 2009. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She has been involved in the medical field since 2000.

Amy Sheffield, PA-C
Mrs. Sheffield has been a part of the Columbus Clinic for a total of 11 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in the Physician Assistant program from the Medical College of Georgia. Mrs. Sheffield has been involved in the medical field for 14 years.

Brandon Williams
Mr. Williams has been a part of Midtown Acute Care, LLC since July 2008. He earned his Masters of Physician Assistant studies from the University of Florida, College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Williams has been involved in the medical field for three years.

Corella A. James-Johnson, PA-C
Corella James-Johnson, PA-C has been a part of the Columbus Clinic since 2001. She earned her Bachelor of Science for Physician Assistant degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Mrs. Johnson has been involved in the medical field for 15 years.

Jose F. Rivera, MSN, ANP-BC, CDE
Mr.Rivera has worked for the Columbus Clinic since 2006. He earned his Masters Degree in Nursing in Adult Primary Care from Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan. He is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Diabetes Educator. Mr. Rivera retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, US Army. He has over 36 years experience in the medical field.

Kimberly D. Miller, PA-C
Kim is a native of Columbus, GA and graduated from Columbus High School. She completed training at The Medical Center School of Radiology to become a Certified Radiographer. While employed for The Medical Center, she completed her Pre-Medicine requirements at Columbus State University. After graduating from the Medical College of Georgia in 2007 with her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, she joined the Columbus Clinic as well as completed a distance learning Masters Degree from The University of Nebraska Medical Center. Kims interest includes work in Dermatology and Family Medicine.

LaDonna Ledford, RN, NP
Mrs. Ledford is a Family Nurse Practitioner and has worked for Columbus Clinic since 2002. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. Mrs. Ledford has been involved in the medical field for 14 years.

Laura V. McLarurin, FNP, BC, CDE
Mrs. McLaurin has worked for the Columbus Clinic since 2005. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Mrs. McLaurin has been involved in the medical field for fifteen years. Her specialty is in the field of Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders.

Lisa M. Plock, APRN
Mrs. Plock joined the Columbus Clinic in 2009. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Troy State University in Phenix City, Alabama. Mrs. Plock has been involved in the medical field for 25 years.

Mark Mills, PA-C
Mr. Mills has worked for the Columbus Clinic since 1997. He earned his Bachelors in Applied Science as a Physician Assistant from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Mills has been involved in the medical field for eighteen years.

Rachel Shanaman, RN, FNP-BC
Ms. Shanaman joined the Columbus Clinic in 2009. She earned her Masters in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Ms. Shanaman has been involved in the medical field for eight years.

Sherry Anderson, RN, MSN-FNP
Mrs. Anderson has been a part of the Columbus Clinic since May 2007. She is from the Columbus area; however she earned her Masters of Science in nursing degree, with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Missouri in St. Louis, Missouri in 2004. Mrs. Anderson has been involved in the healthcare field for over seventeen years.

Terria Racy, PA
Ms. Racy joined the Columbus Clinic in 2009. She earned her Masters in Physician Assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Ms. Racy has served as both a family practice and hospitalist PA for the last 5 years. She is currently a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine and the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants.
