Primary Care Physicians
We believe that everyone should have his or her own primary care physician for proper coordination of this or her health care. Your primary care physician can oversee the different aspects of your health, and ensure that proper measures are taken to provide appropriate specialty care. Checking with you primary care physician before seeing a specialist is always appropriate. Physicians that practice Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Pediatrics are all considered primary care physicians.
Specialist Physicians
The Columbus Clinic is devoted to providing the best in specialty care to its patients. We are always on the lookout of the best in specialists to bring into the Clinic. Our specialist physicians have full access to all of your medical records, as well as convenient access to your primary care physician. Immediate feedback and communication between the physicians within the Clinic is encouraged.
Physician Extenders
We are very proud of our group of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. These highly skilled healthcare professionals allow the Columbus Clinic to provide more timely patient access and more prompt follow-up care. When you are seen by a Physician Extender, your primary care physician is kept informed of your progress and is always available for consultation.
Ancillary Providers
We also have trained, credentialed technicians to provider other outpatient medical services. Our Physical Therapy and Nuclear Medicine departments are here to provide treatment to our patients.
